Ethics Newsline A weekly newsletter published by the Institute for Global Ethics offers "news and information on ethics and current events." Global coverage includes many countries and industries. Current and past issues are available at the site. Article archives can be searched by keyword, world region, industry categories, and broad ethics area category.
International Business Ethics Review International Business Ethics Review is published by the International Business Ethics Institute. "It addresses the most pressing issues in international business ethics and presents practical and responsible solutions to such challenges." Selected articles from back issues are available on the Web.
  Certification and Standards
B Corporation B Labs certities companies that "meet comprehensive and transparent social and environmental standards via the B Rating System".
Facility Reporting Project (FRP) "The Facility Reporting Project (FRP) is a multi-stakeholder initiative to develop a generally-accepted facility-level economic, environmental and social sustainability reporting framework."
Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO) "FLO guarantees that products sold anywhere in the world with a Fairtrade label marketed by a National Initiative conforms to Fairtrade Standards and contributes to the development of disadvantaged producers and workers."
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) The FSC sets standards for sustainable forest management. Companies must allow independent audits to obtain FSC certification. "Chain of Custody" standards are used to ensure that products contain only FSC certified wood. There is also a site for the Forest Stewardship Council in the United states at http://www.fscus.org
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) "The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a multi-stakeholder process and independent institution whose mission is to develop and disseminate globally applicable Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. These Guidelines are for voluntary use by organisations for reporting on the economic, environmental, and social dimensions of their activities, products, and services."
ISO 14000 Standards for environmental management from the International Standards Organization (ISO).
Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) The MSC develops standards for sustainable and well-managed fisheries that minimize environmental damage. Fisheries that are certified through independent audits may then use the MSC product label.
Millennium Development Goals "The Millennium Development Goals are an ambitious agenda for reducing poverty and improving lives that world leaders agreed on at the Millennium Summit in September 2000."
U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) USGBC works "to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work." Site includes information on the LEED Green Building Rating System.

Ernest and Jeanne Merlanti Ethics Initiative This center at the EMU College of Business "fosters activities and develops resources to strengthen ethics and corporate social responsibility coverage in the College of Business curriculum and enhance community outreach." Site also offers many links to ethics resources on the Web.
European Business Ethics Network The European Business Ethics Network promotes "business ethics in European private industry, public sector, voluntary organizations, and academia."
International Business Ethics Institute The International Business Ethics Institute is a nonprofit educational organization that "fosters global business practices to promote equitable economic development, resource sustainability and just forms of government."
